Each journey on the account generates a record covering the traveller, the pickup and drop-off, the timing, and the chauffeur assigned. Those records persist, so a query months later can be answered from the file rather than from memory.

Late-night and lone-traveller journeys are the ones most likely to be examined, so they are the ones the record exists for.
